171615, IE Question
Posted by _Chewy_, Mon Dec-09-02 11:41 PM
I'd like to start my IE browser with a blank page but set my homepage to Yahoo. Is this possible?

In other words, I want Yahoo my home page but not have IE go there when I start my browswer. Sometimes, my dial-up connection can be very fussy and I have to manually hang up and reconnect.

OS = W2K/ browswer is IE 5.5 (SP2)

I rarely go to my homepage as a first destination on the web. I keep my favorites well organized in multiple folders and have favorites as a flyout from my start button pop-up box. I simply click the start button and navigate through the flyout menus to the particular site I need to check first.

I know other people who create a local homepage (html file kept on your hard drive). They have their favorite pictures and links at hand, organized in a way that makes surfing convenient for them.
