Thanks Scotter. I misread your post. I assumed you were talking about the Refupdate file, but it was Refupdate.exe...I got it, now everything is back to normal.

That really depends on your surfing and general computing habits. I run Ad-aware every few months just as a precaution, but I've never had it find any spyware probably because I have my browsers set to PARANOID and I don't venture into the nefarious corners of the web.
Ok, thanks. I run Ad-aware every few weeks. I was able to lesson those so ad or spy-ware cookies by adding the common one into the restricted sites list of Internet Explorer.
